A download is the same download on every plan. Paid plans differ in what comes after it, and in how many people they cover.

Billing questions, answered plainly
- Why is Free one ad at a time?
- Because bulk is the part that saves you the hours, and that is what we charge for. Free is not a counter: download one ad or a thousand, one click each, and nothing tallies them.
- Do you meter downloads?
- No. There is no counter and no credit balance anywhere in it. A run that pulls two gigabytes costs you exactly what a run that pulls two files costs.
- What is the founding price?
- The first 500 paying customers keep the price they joined at for as long as they stay subscribed. If Capture costs more next year, you still pay $3.
- Can I buy Pro today?
- Not yet. Insights, Connect and the spend ranges are still being built, and we will not take money for features that do not exist. Reserve the founding price and we will write when it opens. Team and Agency run as Capture until then, at the same price.
- What is a seat?
- One person, one key. It works on two browsers, or four on Agency. Your laptop and your desktop, say. If it starts appearing on eight, we can see that, because every check-in records which browser used the key.
- What happens if I cancel?
- It keeps working to the end of the period you have paid for, then drops to the free plan, where single-ad downloads and Copy text keep working. It stays installed, so nothing is lost if you come back in March.
- Does it work offline?
- Downloading needs the ad library, so you need a connection for that. The licence check is more forgiving: it runs every few hours and will go three days without reaching us before it complains, so bad hotel wifi will not strand you mid-session.
- Can I try it first?
- Yes. Install it and you get ten days of Capture, everything unlocked. No card, and no account until you subscribe.
- Is my research private?
- Your searches and downloads never leave the browser. The licence check sends four things: your key, a random install ID, the extension version and the browser name. Never what you searched for, and never what you took.
Start with the trial
Install it and the ten-day trial starts by itself. Until it is in the stores, tester builds go out one person at a time: tell us roughly what you would use it for.
